Ask Emma: The Amazon AI Assistant Built for Your Data
Smarter answers. Stronger decisions. Better results.
Every Amazon team has the same moment. Revenue moves, ACOS spikes, a Buy Box disappears — and the first question isn't "what happened," it's "why." Dashboards are good at the first question. They were never built to answer the second, and for years that gap has been filled by whoever on the team happens to know the account best.
That's the gap Emma is built to close.
What Emma actually is
Emma is the AI assistant built into emax digital, the Amazon analytics platform used by brands, sellers, vendors, and agencies across tools like Analytics Hub, Rapid Retail Analytics, Content Monitor, and Market Insights. If you're not an emax digital customer yet: think of Emma as the layer that sits on top of Amazon data and actually talks back — not another chart to read, but something you can ask a direct question and get a direct answer from.
Every answer Emma gives comes from your own connected Amazon accounts and your own emax digital setup — not a generic model guessing based on general knowledge of Amazon. Ask about your ASINs, your campaigns, your Buy Box, and the answer reflects your actual data, not an average or an assumption. Your data stays yours: GDPR-compliant, hosted in Europe, on secure infrastructure.
Nothing about the dashboards changes because of Emma. The Product Performance board, Portfolio Analyzer, and every report already stay exactly where they are — dashboards remain the fastest way to see what's happening in an Amazon business, and that's still true. What Emma adds is the part that used to depend on one specific person on the team: the interpretation. Instead of pulling a report and then figuring out what it means, you ask, and Emma does both at once.
What Emma helps you do
Boiled down, Emma does three things:
- Understand what happened. Ask in plain language — no exports, no digging through dashboards for the right filter combination.
- Identify what matters. Revenue drops, Buy Box losses, ad inefficiencies — surfaced without you having to know to look for them.
- Know what to do next. A clear recommendation you can act on the same day, not just a number to interpret yourself.
That's the shape of every example below.
What Emma can actually do
You can ask Emma things like:
- "Show me sales and inventory overview" — and get a read on revenue movement, stockout risk, and campaign performance together, not three separate reports.
- "Which ASINs lost the Buy Box?" or "List the campaigns burning budget" — direct answers pulled from your connected accounts, not a dashboard you then have to interpret.
Underneath those questions, here's what's actually live today:
- Read whatever's on the Product Performance board — the ASIN table, charts, and filters as configured, across Vendor Central, Seller Central, Sponsored Ads, and DSP. No copy-pasting, no re-explaining the setup.
- Pull daily campaign- and ASIN-level Ads performance on request, plus weekly-and-up combined metrics like TACOS that merge Ads data with Vendor or Seller Central sales — numbers Amazon's own consoles don't calculate.
- Compare multiple periods as a trend, not just a single snapshot — lowest point, average, and overall growth rate across a window you choose, from days up to 36 quarters. That's what makes a question like "is this seasonal or is something actually wrong" answerable in one go.
- Check Content Score, compare a live listing against its own saved master content, and flag Buy Box price deviation against target — all without leaving the conversation.
A concrete example from actual use: one team asked Emma why their advertising efficiency had slipped over the past six weeks. Emma pulled daily campaign-level spend and sales, pinpointed the exact days spend outpaced sales growth, and named the two campaigns responsible — from a single question, no dashboard-hunting required.

We keep improving Emma. here's what's coming in the following weeks: Buy Box ownership tracking, review sentiment analysis, search term reports, and AI-generated Key Insights are all in active development. Where Emma can't answer something yet, it tells you that directly rather than guessing.
